Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested two men in connection with a pair of fatal shootings that happened inside separate parking garages on New Year's Eve.

The first happened in a garage at the Fashion Show. Investigators say a married couple were walking through the garage when they were approached by a man who demanded the woman’s purse. A struggle ensued, and the woman was shot in the chest. She later died at the hospital. The man was not injured.

Then around 6pm, police say a man in his 50s was shot in the parking garage of Palace Station, also during an attempted robbery. The gunshot victim died at a local hospital. Investigators say that there had been another attempted robbery at another casino garage about an hour prior, and even though a person was shot at, no one was hurt.

Later in the evening, police detained a pair of suspects in the food court at Bally's.

On Saturday, police released the names of the pair that was taken into custody, along with their booking photos.

Jordan Ruby and Jesani Carter are currently at the Clark County Detention Center, being held without bail. They're both due in court on Tuesday.
