Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police say a man currently in custody for a murder back in 2023 is also responsible for 3 other homicides dating back to 2021.
Police connected Michael Coleman to the three other murders based on DNA and ballistic evidence gathered in the murder of Kidada Stewart in February of 2023.
At a press conference Tuesday, Metro Police detailed how Coleman was connected to the killings.
They say Coleman was used by another man, Carl Chester, as a hired gun to kill people who didn’t pay back loans that Chester had fraudulently received through the federal Paycheck Protection Program that was set up during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Metro says that Chester was killed later by a member of one of his victim’s families back in March.
