
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested the driver that struck and killed a pedestrian on Thursday, then fled the scene.
The incident happened around 6pm near Owens and A Street.
LVMPD was searching overnight for a 2005-2007 Gold Nissan Murano that was missing a right mirror and has right headlight damage.
Early Friday, the department announced that they had found the driver, who fled eastbound on Owens. The vehicle was discovered in a parking lot in the 900 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North
The driver was identified as 57-year-old Kurt Hatter. He was taken to the Clark County Detention Center on hit and run charges.
The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
