Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have found the pickup truck involved in a fatal auto-pedestrian accident on Sunday afternoon.
What they haven't found is the driver.
Police say the suspect ran the red at Lake Mead at Tonopah (between Simmons and Martin Luther King), and struck the pedestrian, who was in an unmarked crosswalk.
Investigators say that the pickup was fleeing the scene after being involved in a different crash nearby when the man was struck.
An original picture of the pickup in question showed a black vehicle, while an updated photo showed that the truck had been painted yellow.
The photo clearly shows front end damage done by the impact with the victim, whose name hasn’t yet been released
