Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A Las Vegas Metro Police motorcycle officer is recovering after being hit by a vehicle in the Spaghetti Bowl Friday morning.

Metro says that around 11:15am, the officer had pulled the vehicle over on the ramp from 95N to 15S. As the officer was approaching the vehicle, that car’s driver put the vehicle in reverse and struck the officer's motorcycle. The driver then fled the scene.
The officer was transported to U.M.C. as a precaution. Friday afternoon, the vehicle in question was spotted near Baker, California, and the suspect was taken into custody.
