Metro Police asking for help in afternoon freeway shooting

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A portion of I-11 South was closed Monday afternoon after someone was shot while driving on the freeway

Las Vegas Metro Police say it happened just after 3:30pm on 11 South between Flamingo and Tropicana. The victim told police that he thought he had heard a gunshot, but when he exited the freeway he realized that he himself had been wounded.

That person is currently listed in critical condition.
