Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - There will be a lot of action around the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace on Thursday morning before the mall opens to the public, but it's all in the name of public safety.
Between 8am and 9am, Las Vegas Metro Police will be conducting an active shooter drill at the mall.
Multiple agencies will be taking part, with simulated gunfire and plenty of emergency vehicles on the scene.
Again, this is only a drill. Shops at the mall will open at their regular time.
