Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police will be getting a fleet of Tesla Cybertrucks to use soon.
During the annual State of The Department address on Tuesday, Metro Sheriff Kevin McMahill said that Metro will be getting 10 Cybertrucks, including a specially fitted vehicle that will be used by Metro SWAT.
The 10 Cybertrucks will mean that Metro will have more of those at their disposal than any other department in the country.
McMahill said that the purchase of the Cyber Trucks isn’t coming out of the department’s budget, but instead from an anonymous donor.
