
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A judge Tuesday ordered two men held without bail in the fatal shooting of a downtown bartender earlier this month.
Hope Ritter, a mother of a young daughter who tended bar at Atomic Liquors downtown, was shot and killed while she was sitting in a car with a friend in the early morning hours of February 15th when two men approached the vehicle and then fired shots inside. Ritter died at the scene.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify 18-year-old Phillip Strong and 20-year-old Charles Wright as suspects in this case.
Wright was already in police custody at the Clark County Detention Center for unrelated charges. He’s since been re-booked for open murder with a deadly weapon.
Strong was arrested in North Las Vegas on Friday, February 21st. He was also booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder with a deadly weapon.
