Metro Police officer arrested on domestic violence charges

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A Las Vegas Metro officer has been arrested on domestic violence charges.

According to a press release sent out by Metro, officer Robert Bell was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.

Bell faces the following charges:

- Assault with a deadly weapon – domestic violence
- Coercion with threat of force with a deadly weapon – domestic violence
- Coercion with threat of force with a deadly weapon
- Kidnapping 1st degree with a deadly weapon
- Assault with a deadly weapon - domestic violence

Bell, who has been with the LVMPD since 1999, was held on a $30,000 bail. No other details were released.
