Metro Police releases comprehensive Internal Affairs report

Report covers actions taken over 2-year-period

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released on Wednesday the First Annual Internal Affairs Bureau Accountability Report.

The report is a two-year examination of all LVMPD complaints, alleged criminal misconduct, findings, and discipline from 2018 and 2019. It is intended to identify emerging trends and assist in developing better training, policy, and procedures.

This is the most detailed and comprehensive report of its kind that the LVMPD has ever released, which the department say. Is part of its “ongoing commitment to fostering transparency, accountability, and reform within all aspects of the agency, including alleged employee misconduct”.
