
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A man lying in the road was killed early Monday after being run over by a driver that fled the scene, according to Las Vegas Metro Police.
Investigators say that the unidentified man was lying in the right lane of southbound Maryland Parkway near Sunrise Hospital around 3:45 Monday morning. A couple of cars were able to avoid the man, but a 2022 Dodge Charger ran over him. The car then continued heading south.
The victim was taken to Sunrise but died from his injuries.
Metro is now asking for the public’s help in finding the car, which is described as blue with black racing stripes over the top. Front bumper damage is also likely.
