Las Vegas, NV (AP) - A teenager who was hiking in an undeveloped area in west Las Vegas has been found dead, police said Thursday.

16 year-old Quinn Fike’s body was found west of Lake Mead Boulevard and 215 near the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, police said. The teen had been reported missing Wednesday afternoon after not returning home as expected, police said in a statement.
While an exact cause of death hasn't been said, the girl's family told Fox 5 that she didn't survive a fall. Foul play is not suspected.
