LAS VEGAS (AP) — Another Las Vegas casino operator said Thursday it will offer on-site coronavirus vaccinations to hospitality workers.
Station Casinos clinics begin next Tuesday at six of its properties in Las Vegas and suburban Henderson, company spokesman Alex Acuna said.
The company arranged with paramedic and ambulance provider American Medical Response to administer COVID-19 vaccine by appointment for workers and family members.
The two biggest Las Vegas casino companies — MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment — along with the Cosmopolitan and Wynn Resorts also are inoculating employees at clinics set up on their properties.
The in-house clinic at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas began March 22 with partner Impact Health, and has handled 4,000 doses of vaccinations, the company said Thursday.
Inoculation drives have expanded since mid-December statewide, amid limited vaccine supplies.
Supplies have increased, and Gov. Steve Sisolak has directed that everyone 16 and older will be eligible for shots beginning Monday.
More than 18% of the Nevada population is fully vaccinated, the state Department of Health and Human Services said, including nearly 334,000 people in the Las Vegas area. Almost one in three people statewide has begun the vaccination process.
