Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The 33rd traffic-related fatality in Metro Police's jurisdiction for 2021 occurred Thursday night on the valley's west side.
Police say that just after 7pm, a Honda motorcycle was heading south on Torrey Pines past Vegas Drive when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, struck a curb, then continued into a light pole.
The collision redirected the motorcycle back into the road and the rider was ejected.
Medical personnel transported the rider to the University Medical Center's Trauma Center, where the rider succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
