Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A suspect is in custody after police say he shot and killed a man at a casino, then led police on a chase around the valley that included three carjackings.

Investigators say it all started around 4:30 Thursday morning when the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Aerion Warmsley, shot and killed a man at Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas. Police haven’t said what led up to the shooting, nor have they identified the victim.

About 30 minutes later, police say the car Warmsley was driving got into a crash on Spring Mountain east of Valley View. They say he then carjacked a vehicle at the scene and fled.

Later, police say that Warmsley carjacked a second victim in the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant near Boulder Highway and Tropicana, but soon wrecked into a bus stop, hurting two people at the stop.

Warmsley then fled on foot and carjacked a third person. Police forced that vehicle to stop near Boulder Highway and Sahara and took the Warmsley into custody just after 9am.
