Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - 22 people are homeless after fire raced through their east-side apartment complex Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the Solaire Apartments near Sahara and Maryland Parkway just after 3pm and had the fire out within 30 minutes.

In all, four units of one of the building were damaged. Two people were treated for smoke inhalation. No firefighters were hurt.

The American Red Cross is working to house those who were displaced.

The cause of the fire isn’t yet known.

The apartment complex has seen more than its share of fires over the past decade. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the Clark County Fire Department responded to more than 50 fires at the Solaire Apartments between 2011 and 2018.
