
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – It was a tense situation in the central valley Tuesday afternoon after a shooting that forced a local elementary school into a hard lockdown.

Police say just after 1:30pm, a dispute between neighbors escalated to gunfire with three people being wounded in a neighborhood near Lake Mead and MLK.
A Metro spokesman said that none of the three suffered what is considered to be life-threatening injuries.
A nearby school, Matt Kelly Elementary, went into a hard lockdown as police sorted out the situation which was deemed contained around 4pm. Police say there was never a threat to students and staff’.
