Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The North Las Vegas Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a person of interest in a shooting that happened Friday night.

Police said around 6:30 p.m., two people were shot in the 2500 block of Bulloch Street near Carey and North 5th Street.

A man his thirties and a 9-month-old were taken to UMC Trauma, but their injuries were non-life-threatening, police say.

Detectives said Monday that they believe this incident started as the result of a package theft that later ended in a shooting.

The person of interest is described as a Black male last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie, gray sweatpants and white Crocs.

Anyone who recognizes this person or has any information regarding this incident is urged by police to contact the North Las Vegas Police
