88-year-old Joan Cafflel was killed by the dog in her apartment near Arville and Pennwood Tuesday morning. Family members said the dog had never shown vicious tendenicies, and they don’t know what set it off on the victim.
The dog is currently in the custody of Animal Control, awaiting its fate.
