Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The first officer-involved shooting of 2023 for the North Las Vegas Police Department ended with one person dead.

It happened around 1am near Allen and La Madre. North Las Vegas Police say that officers had pulled someone over for a traffic violation and as officers questioned the driver, police say he pulled out a gun.
Police then fired on that driver, who died from their wounds.
The officers on scene weren’t hurt.
The identities of the driver and the officers involved have not yet been released.
