Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Passenger numbers at Reid International Airport for October were released on Wednesday by the Clark County Department of Aviation, and they continue to show a downward trend for visitation to Las Vegas.
For the month, just under 4.9 million people came through Reid, which was a decline of just over 8 percent from October of 2024.
International travel continues to be a big contributing factor to the lower numbers, with the month seeing a drop of 14.2% in international visitors from October of 2024.
So far, for the first ten months of 2025, overall passenger traffic is down 5.1 percent from 2024, which saw a record number of travelers using Reid International
Southwest Airlines continues to be the dominant carrier at Reid, with Delta coming in second. American, United and Frontier rounded out the top five.
Long-time second-place finisher Spirit Airlines came in 6th, with the airline seeing a whopping 61% drop in passenger volume year to year. Spirit has been struggling to stay afloat, cutting many routes in an effort to streamline business. A number of those routes were flights to Las Vegas from numerous cities in California.
Westjet and Air Canada were the top international carriers.
