Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A shooting involving Henderson Police ended with a domestic violence suspect dead on Thursday morning.
Just after 7:30am, Henderson Police responded to a call from a woman in a neighborhood near Windmill and Valle Verde who said she was being held against her will by her ex-boyfriend.
When police arrived and ordered the man out of the house, they say the woman ran outside, followed by the ex-boyfriend – who was holding a knife.
Officers fired and hit the suspect, who died at the scene.
Neither the woman nor any officers were hurt.
The names of the people involved, as well as the officers involved in the shooting, have not yet been released.
