One killed, two others hurt, in NLV shooting

LAS VEGAS (AP) — One person was killed and two others hospitalized after a shooting in North Las Vegas on Saturday night

Officers were called out after a report of a shooting around 7:30 p.m. Saturday near Las Vegas Boulevard and Owens.

North Las Vegas police said investigators believe two men ran up to a group of people and started shooting.

Right now, the motive for the shooting remains unclear

Police said the three victims were all in their late 20s or early 30s and were taken to University Medical Center.

One of them was a man who died hours later. His name has not yet been released. The conditions of the other two victims isn’t known.
