Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – It was anything but a quiet Monday morning for drivers in North Las Vegas after a cement truck overturned on 15 North.
Nevada State Police say that around 9:15, the truck encountered some sort of mechanical issue, possibly a blown tire, on 15 North at Lake Mead. The truck driver overcorrected and the vehicle fell on its side.
The truck driver wasn’t seriously hurt but the crash – and the mess caused by it – limited traffic on 15 North in the area down to one lane for more than four hours.
All lanes were opened back up around 2pm.
