Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Hundreds of parents marched in front of Clark County School District headquarters on Wednesday, protesting a recent mask mandate for all students.

Last week, Governor Steve Sisolak put the mandate in place for areas in Nevada that have had a high transmission rate for Covid-19, areas that included Clark County

Under the mandate, all CCSD students and staff must wear face coverings while in school buildings, as well as on buses.

The group The Power2Parent organized the protest, saying the choice should be made be the parents over whether their children should wear face coverings, not forced upon them by the school district or state government.
