Passenger numbers at Reid Airport continue to show a decline

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Passenger numbers for July released Wednesday by the Clark County Department of Aviation continue to show a downward trend for visitation to Las Vegas.

For the month, just under 4.8 million people came through Reid International Airport, which was a decline of just under 6 percent from July of 2024.

So far, for the first seven months of 2025, overall passenger traffic is down 4.4 percent from 2024, which saw a record number of travelers using Reid International.

Southwest Airlines continues to be the dominant carrier at Reid. Second place finisher Spirit Airlines saw a dramatic drop in passenger volume, dropping a whopping 42% from numbers seen in July of 2024 (and off nearly 30% year to year). Delta, American and United rounded out the top 5 carriers.
