Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Coming off a record-setting 2024, it’s not that big of a surprise to see travel numbers at Reid International Airport slip a little bit, and the March numbers released on Tuesday bore that out.
According to the Clark County Department of Aviation, 4.845 million travelers passed through the airport in March, a decline of nearly 4% from the same month in 2024.
For the year, passenger numbers are 3.7% behind 2024’s pace.
Some experts have been fearing a drop in international travel to Las Vegas in reaction to tariff’s instituted by President Trump, but March saw only a 0.5% drop in international travel numbers from March of 2024, while the domestic passenger count was down close to 5%.
Southwest Airlines remain the dominant carrier at Reid, followed by Delta, Spirit, United and American.
