Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The 215 Beltway between Windmill and Pecos will see significant traffic disruptions while the highway is being paved starting Sunday night, and possibly lasting until Aug. 2.

The paving will primarily be done from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings.

The westbound side of the freeway will be paved first, with that part limited to one travel lane weeknights during the overnight hours, with intermittent closures of the on- and off-ramps as well. In addition, 215W between S. Pecos and Windmill will be reduced to two travel lanes during the day. In early July, 215W will open up to a four-lane stretch between S. Pecos and Windmill.

Paving work is expected to switch to 215E between Windmill and S. Pecos in early July, with similar restrictions in place.
