Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - One of the last free parking options on the Las Vegas Strip is no more.

Planet Hollywood announced this week that its Miracle Mile Shops garage would start to charge for parking, and that change is already in effect. Sure, you could stay for less than an hour and still get out for free, but after the hour is up, be prepared to pay.

The cost to park between one and four hours is $12. It’s $15 for four to 24 hours. Parking continues to be free for Planet Hollywood hotel guests, as well as for Platinum, Diamond and Seven Star tier levels of the Caesars Rewards loyalty club.

Officials with the Miracle Mile Shops say that the paid parking policies of other Strip properties played a role in their decision.
