Most residents remain under a ‘boil water’ order due to damage that was done to the water system, but on Saturday the Las Vegas Valley Water District lifted the order for the majority of those living in the Rainbow subdivision. No estimate was given as to when the complete order may be lifted.
Just over 50 mountain residents had to be evacuated, but officials say that at the current time, no one is trapped in their home, and no injuries have been reported. They continue to urge residents to stay in their homes due to the unsteady conditions and damage to in and out routes.
