Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Passenger numbers for May released Thursday by the Clark County Department of Aviation continue to show an alarming trend.
For the month, just under 5 million people came through Reid International Airport, which was a decline of nearly 4 percent from May of 2024.
So far, for the first five months of 2025, overall passenger traffic is down 3.6 percent from 2024, which saw a record number of travelers using Reid International.
A boom that had been seen in international travel since the end of the COVID-19 seems to have peaked, with overall numbers off nearly 9% year to year.
Southwest Airlines continues to be the dominant carrier at Reid, followed by Spirit, Delta, American and United.
