Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Passenger numbers at Reid International Airport for November were released on Tuesday by the Clark County Department of Aviation, and they continue to show a downward trend for visitation to Las Vegas.
For the month, just under 4.3 million people came through Reid, which was a decline of just under 10 percent from November of 2024.
International travel continues to be a big contributing factor to the lower numbers, with the month seeing a drop of 21.2% in international visitors from November of 2024. That number was especially disappointing with the city hosting the Las Vegas Grand Prix the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was hoped that the race would spur a growth in international travelers but that didn’t happen
So far, for the first 11 months of 2025, overall passenger traffic is down 5.5 percent from 2024, which saw a record number of travelers using Reid International
Southwest Airlines continues to be the dominant carrier at Reid, with Delta coming in second. United, American and Frontier rounded out the top five.
Long-time second-place finisher Spirit Airlines came in 7th, with the airline seeing a nearly 70% drop in passenger volume year to year. Spirit has been struggling to stay afloat, cutting many routes in an effort to streamline business. A number of those routes were flights to Las Vegas from numerous cities in California.
Westjet and Air Canada were the top international carriers. Both airlines also saw a sharp drop in their passenger numbers
