
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Fears of a recession and higher prices for tickets didn’t stop traveler from coming to Las Vegas in October, as Reid International Airport set an all-time record for arriving and departing passengers.

The airport on Thursday said that 5.17 million people came and went through the airport in October, breaking the old mark set back in July, when 4.86 million travelers went through.
With travel numbers on the rise, officials at Reid say they’ll be studying ways to expand parking options at the facility, a study that’s expected to take several months to complete.
