Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – When the heat gets to the extreme levels that we’ve started to see, the advice is always the same: exercise early, walk the dog early. Pretty much don’t do anything outside from noon on.
That now applies to trash pickup, too.
Republic Services says that due to the heat, trash and recyclable collections will begin as early as 5:30am. The earlier collection times begin on Monday.
Republic recommends that if you don’t do it already, take your bins out to the street before you go to bed to avoid missing the pickup.
Republic Services says they expect the earlier trash collection times to continue through September.
