Reward being offered in valley mail carrier robbery

Las Vegas, (NV) – The U.S. Postal Service is offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man who they say robbed mail carrier.

The incident happened in a neighborhood near Sahara and Joe W. Brown back on Friday, April 21st.

USPS says that any information that they receive would be kept private.

Robbery of a USPS employee is a federal offense punishable by up to 25 years in prison.

The Postal Service warns people not to approach the man if you see him, but instead contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455 (say “Law Enforcement”), and use Reference Code # 4020656.
