Around 3:30 Monday morning, police say a car was at a light at Charleston and Valley View when a man got out of an SUV, walked up to the rideshare car, and began a conversation. Shortly after that, the man then shot multiple rounds into the car.

Police didn’t know if the conversation the shooter was having was with the rideshare driver or his passenger.

The wounds the woman received were non-life-threatening. The suspect remains at large, but Metro hasn’t released a description of him or his vehicle.

Anyone with more information is asked to call Metro. If you wish to stay anonymous, you can use Crime Stoppers (702-385-5555, www.crimestoppersofnv.com)
