Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - All lanes on 95N through the downtown area were closed for a little more than three hours on Wednesday morning after a semi hit a pedestrian that was on the freeway.
The incident happened just after 4am. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital in critical condition. No impairment is suspected for the driver of the semi.
Lanes re-opened on 95N around 7:15am.
Drivers who use that stretch of U.S. 95 will have to get used to bumper to bumper delays as the area between Eastern and the Spaghetti Bowl is now down to two lanes in each direction for a $40M viaduct rehabilitation project, a project that's not expected to be finished until December of 2022.
