Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A portion of 15 South was shut down during the morning commute on Wednesday due to a shooting.
The incident happened around 5:30 along 15 South between Lake Mead and Washington.
Traffic backups were massive due to the closure, which some drivers turning around and actually exiting the freeway on onramps. The freeway partially opened around 7:30, but right lanes continued to be blocked.
Little information has been released as to injuries or arrests.
