Small plane makes emergency landing south of Boulder City

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - No injuries were reported after the student pilot of a small plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Highway 95 south of Boulder City on Friday night.

According to the Boulder City Police Department, the pilot said that the plane had some sort of fuel malfunction and lost power. The plane landed on Highway 95 in the Eldorado Valley, and was then pushed off of the highway onto the desert.

There was one other occupant on the plane, along with the student. No vehicles on 95 were impacted.

The emergency landing happened just after 8pm, shortly after the plane had taken off from the Boulder City Airport.
