Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Two women were shot and killed overnight in the southeast valley and the shooter remains on the loose.
Las Vegas Metro Police received a Shotspotter alert of gunfire near the intersection of Nellis and Tropicana just before 3:30 Tuesday morning. When officers arrived at the scene they discovered three victims, two women and one man. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the second at an area hospital.
The man who was shot is currently hospitalized in stable condition.
Metro says that the shooting was done by a man on a bicycle who fired his weapon in both the strip mall parking lot, and inside of a bar. Metro says the man then headed east on Tropicana. Police say they believe the shooter knew his victims.
