Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Major constructions projects have been disrupting commutes for drivers on I-15 and U.S. 95 for quite some time. Now it’s time for those who use the Southern Beltway to deal with the price of progress.
Widening work will be happening along a stretch of 215(S) between I-15 and Jones, adding a lane in both directions. Additional improvements include pavement repairs and resurfacing, drainage facilities, and new signage, and lighting.
Construction will also be impacting roads near Las Vegas Boulevard and 215, such as George Crockett, and Hidden Well, as well as the Las Vegas Boulevard offramp from I-15 to CC-215 eastbound and the CC-215 eastbound on-ramp from Las Vegas Boulevard.
Clark County says they’ll do their best to prevent too much of a disruption during peak travel times, saying that lane restrictions through the 215 work zone will be in the overnight hours between 9pm and 5am.
The $84.6M project is set for completion in spring of 2025.
