
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A line of strong thunderstorms passed through southern Nevada Sunday night, leaving thousands without power.
Storms started to roll thought he area just before 9pm, not only bringing heavy rain, but gusty winds as well.
No injuries were reported, but several people in Henderson had to be rescued from their cars after they became trapped in rushing water. The southeast part of the valley saw the most rain, with Henderson picking up close to an inch. McCarran Airport officially recorded .16 of an inch.
Thousands also lost power as well, with NV Energy estimating that at one time, 15,000 people had lost power.
More storms are in the forecast for Monday, and once again, they'll come with a chance for heavy rain and strong winds.
