Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Clark County School District Police on Wednesday arrested a student at Basic Academy in Henderson for bringing a gun to school.

Police were called to the school on Palo Verde Drive to investigate a report of a weapon on campus, and a gun was recovered.
CCSDPD says that at no time were threats made to either students or staff.
The name of the student who was arrested has not been released.
