Police were called to the Wells Fargo location at Charleston and Las Vegas Boulevard on reports of a robbery at the Wells Fargo.
Metro says they got the call just after noon about a robbery in progress and set up a perimeter around the bank, calling in SWAT as a reinforcement. After about an hour, the suspect surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody. No one was hurt.
Police say the suspect never produced a weapon but employees say his actions indicated he was there to rob the place.
LVMPD’S Robbery Division has taken over the investigation.
