
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested and man and charged him in the shooting death of another man at a busy valley intersection Thursday afternoon.
Police say there was a verbal altercation between some men in the parking lot of a CVS Pharmacy at Charleston and Decatur. One of the men involved fled, but tripped on a median. Another man, identified as 38 year-old Jonathan Bolton, then came up to the man and shot him. That man was taken to UMC, but died from his wounds. Bolton then fled the scene by car.
Bolton was taken into custody without incident in Jean and transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he was booked for open murder. The circumstances surrounding Bolton’s arrest have been made public
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
