Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested a man they say shot and killed another man during a drug transaction on Tuesday night.
21-year-old Jeremiah Smith has been booked in the Clark County Detention Center on multiple felony charges that include open murder with a deadly weapon.
Metro says that on Tuesday night, Smith met with another man in a neighborhood near Stewart and Nellis to conduct a drug transaction. At some point, they say Smith shot and killed the victim, whose name has not yet been released.
Details surrounding how and where Smith was taken into custody also have not yet been released.
