
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Police in California have arrested the prime suspect in a March shooting in east Las Vegas that left two women dead
Jason Robert Manuel, 43, was identified by Las Vegas Metro Police detectives as the suspect in the shooting death of two women at a strip mall business complex.
On April 1, California law enforcement took Manuel into custody in San Jacinto. He was taken to the Riverside County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Las Vegas.
On March 5, Las Vegas Metro police responded to a call after receiving multiple reports of a shooting outside a business in the 5000 block of East Tropicana near Nellis. When officers arrived they found two women and one man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The two women were later pronounced dead, while the man had non-life-threatening wounds, according to police.
Detectives later learned that a man on a bike shot the three victims in a parking lot as he rode past them, police said
