Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a teenager at a hotel just east of the Strip on Saturday night.

It happened at the Platinum Hotel on East Flamingo and Koval on Saturday night. Investigators say a group was having a birthday party in one of the rooms, when another group that had not been invited showed up.

A verbal dispute then escalated to the point where one of the people among the uninvited guests pulled out a gun and fired shots. That group then fled the scene.

The victim who was shot was taken to Sunrise Hospital but died from their wounds
