Ronald Martin Hetzel Jr. was arrested on Saturday and booked into a Victorville County detention center on a murder charge, according to Las Vegas Metro Police.
Hetzel, Jr. was arrested in the killing of 56-year-old Shirley Williams, who was found strangled to death in a home in the 4000 block of Edgeford Place, near Desert Inn and Valley View.
Williams' body was discovered on the morning of January 29th, with police initially saying that they suspected foul play.
Hetzel Jr. will remain in the California pending extradition back to Las Vegas.
